“This photo was taken in Gladstone, which is where we stayed overnight on our drive up to Airlie Beach. I remember forcing myself to get up at something like 5am to take the drone out, because I knew (thanks to google maps) that there would be some spectacular industrial shots in this town. It’s a town I definitely want to return to and spend a lot more time photographing all of its fascinating industrial features.“

“I was down in the Burdekin for the weekend visiting family, and as usual these days I never go anywhere without gear. I thought I’d have a quick flight to catch a sunset over the cane paddocks, but had luck on my side and was able to catch the always amazing site of a cane fire in full swing during it’s seasonal burn before harvest, right near where I was located.”
