“I was on holiday with my family in Wollongong and always wanted to visit the Sea Cliff Bridge. The weather didn’t allow for the sunny coastal shot I was hoping for, but allowed me to capture the bridge in a different light and tick it off the bucket list.

“I had just purchased some new ND filters for my Mavic 2 Pro, so I thought I’d look for an interesting subject that would possibly have some water movement around it. I recall seeing the shipwreck of the HMQS Gayundah on a recent trip to Woody Point, just north of Brisbane. I figured the Gayundah shipwreck would be in a perfect position at high tide to have some nice water movement around it, so I went with a strong ND filter (ND64) on the M2P to capture the moving waves while keeping the main subject of the shipwreck fairly sharp and in focus. This shot is a 1 second exposure, which is a testament to just how stable the Mavic 2 Pro is. I’ve seen heaps of shots of this shipwreck from various angles, but none from directly above using a longer exposure, so I was pretty happy with the outcome.
