Have a collection of video clips? Well firstly you should upload the individual clips to SkyStock and then its time to edit them together to make an awesome video. What software should you use? We asked a group of drone photographers and their answers were:
Adobe Premier Pro came out on top, but for those looking for a free option DaVinci Resolve was a fairly close second. Final Cut Pro was in third but it is important to note that this software only works on Apple computers, so has a more limited reach.
What does the SkyStock Team recommended? Video editing software can be very overwhelming, especially if you start with some of the more advanced options such as Adobe Premier Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. We recommend starting out with an easier to use and more friendly software. This can include the DJI Go App which was 5th on our list, or some free software on your computer such as iMovie (6th). Once you get comfortable with editing videos, then step it up to one of the more advanced options.
What does SkyStock use? Over the years we have used all 3 of the top results. Our personal favourite was Final Cut Pro. This is just a personal choice and we recommend trying all the top options and see which one works best for your workflow. There is no right or wrong option here!
